IT'S......NEW YEARS!!!

 Like every other holiday it's the perfect excuse,to do the things most of us do anytime of year anyway. The perfect excuse to go hang out w/ur buddies and relatives,annoy the in-laws(or BE annoyed by THEM),eat like pigs,blow up some fireworks and disturb the peace getting cranky old people coming out yelling and shaking their fist @ you for disturbing the peace,getting drunk and making it worse...yep..that's the holidays for ya! Aint being an american GREAT?? =D lol

Next Totally Random Blog...about TURTLES!!

Now I know I've said that I have 3 dogs,and 1in particular is pretty cool for a dog. My airedale. The star of blogger because of his strange and very amusing personality. But he is not the ONLY unsual pet I have. Nore are dogs the only pets I have. I actually have 2 turtles as well. Yes. I found both of them in my neighborhood at different times. A few years ago I found my-what I thought was a red ear turtle,accept for the fact he doesn't have RED EARS,everythingelse about him looks like the species tho. Anyway the turtle quite LITERALLY showed up on my door step after a storm from the day b4.

That had been a few years ago,and not that long ago(maybe a few months ago or so) I found this tiny softshell turtle w/a pointy nose, on the ground when we all went walking 1 night. I almost didn't SEE him,coz he's so tiny and it was dark out,but w/what little bit of street light did make it that far over there,I could sorta see a dark spot on the ground,and it was enough to get my attention and when I bent over to get a better look at it,I saw it was a turtle. Just sitting there on the pavement. So I scooped him up and kept him w/me for the rest of the walk,w/him in 1 hand and just took him home,so ever since I have had 2 turtles! LOL Anyway the 1st turtle I have,I named  Hobbes,from the comicbook "Calvin&Hobbes" my favorite comic.  Now Hobbes is the 1 w/the personality that so odd for a turtle. This turtle will listen to you when ur talking. Yes! He listens! He comes over to where ur at as much as possible in his little tank,and he pokes his head waaaaaaaaaay out and just kinda turns his head this way and that,like he's listening,he gets so nosy and curious LOL

I've had a read ear turtle once b4 when I was about 9 or 10 and he didn't act ANYTHING like this turtle. Turtles usually hide in their shells when u approach them,but not this 1. He COMES to you and he LISTENS! LOL I find it odd,he acts like a dog. He hears you nearby and immediately has to go investigate or come up and greet you, lol. Now the other turtle I found,acts like a typical turtle,it hides ALOT. In fact EVERYTIME I see it,it's under the water,NEVER uses it's rock,not even to sunbathe,and just sleeps. I don't think that turtle ever NOT sleeps. Boooooooooooooooring! But Hobbes is more interesting,because he comes up to you,because he likes the sound of voices and well pretty much any sound lol.

a sort of religious but also strange dream I just had lol

ok so in this dream, I was in this school,I think it was like a private school or something. I'm not sure if I was a student there or an employee. Anyway there is this woman who works in personnel @ my old job and she was in the dream. She was like my boss or something in the dream and she was telling me all about her kids,how she has a boy and a girl,now I never met her little girl,but she had a picture of her on her desk and her son(who was probably maybe 6 or 7 at the most) WAS there and his name was..."DRUM ROLL PLEASE!" dun dun dun dun dun dun dun..........JESUS!! yep it was Jesus! yeah u think that's weird,wait till u hear-er read the BEST part...(haha u'll prolly laugh hysterically over this 1) ok I walked out of the office and past her son(who is only a CHILD mind u) and I couldn't stop staring at him.

He was sitting in a chair up against the wall,waiting on his"mom" I guess, and I got like several feet away w/lots of other kids and staff walking between where I stood and where he sat. I couldn't stop looking at him,because this kid had the long hair and beard just like Jesus! a KID w/a BEARD!! This was really strange lol and the thing is,is the whole time there's all this noise and distraction going on in the hall and I am standing so far away from this kid,and there's alot of ppl going everywhere and occassionally blocking my view of him,he was talking to some other kids that went over and stood by him,and I still stood there staring at him. LOL!

Then as if he KNEW I was looking at him,suddenly there was a very CLEAR view of him even through the crowd, and he suddenly turned and looked me right in the eye and then smiled at me. Real friendly and sweet like,and then suddenly this glow of light just flashed right behind him and all around the back of his head and kind of above it too. It was so cool. I was like "DAAAAAAAAAAAAANG maybe the kid really IS Jesus himself. But in the modern world and apparently, has a sister " =0 lol so yeah this dream was so bizarre yet so cool,I just HAD to share it w/any1 interested in reading about it. =) I've never had a dream like that b4 so it was kinda cool =) I wonder if any other christians have had dreams like this? I've been a christian for years and this is the 1st time,I'm having religious type dreams. =)

IT'S ALMOST CHRISTMAS!!!

That time of year when DOZENS of people wait till the very last mintue to do all their xmas shopping,and annoy everybody who's unlucky enough to work in retail,messing up the store so bad it takes them hours to clean up,or making cashiers feel VERY overwhelmed as they have to take in HUNDREDS of customers at a time,and never getting to stop,and each customer has probably a thousand things in 1 cart alone,then u get to have the black friday sale following soon after,where everybody is willing to kill and be killed just to get those sales. Ahhh the holidays. =D Thank God I don't work retail anymore. LOL and then there's the rest of us that have been utterly broke for so long, that we haven't been able to get ANYTHING for ANY1 this year so will now fee really guilty,when they receive presents from all the relatives and friends but don't have anything for them in return. Ahhh yes,hoilday stress. =D Can you feel it?? Hoilday stress is in the air. LOL ^_^  MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!! 2 MORE DAYS TILL CHRISTMAS =D

Just discovered an animal I never knew about

so I was browsing thru the "people of walmart" twitter site,and 1 of the pix they had was of this animal that I guess some1 in Texas has. They took it in the store,and I have never seen anything like this before.Apparently it's called a "Capybara". It looks like a hamster on steroids to me. It's feet look like that of a dinosaur. Ok maybe not as much in this pic. But definitely in the 1 below:

 

 maaaaaaan it's HUUUUUUUGE!! it's like a giant LIVING plush toy! =0 It LOOKS like a hamster on steroids. LOL

 Apparently you can keep them as pets too. Cool. They're awesome. =) And this whole time I thought rats where the biiiiiiiiiiig rodents. lol

There IS a Jacksonville,IL.!!! I know this,because I have been there. In fact,I lived there for less than a year. My mother has also lived there for a few years when she was a kid. So I KNOW there is a Jacksonville,IL. lol Just saying...haha no really.

Anytime I mention Jacksonville some ppl act like they know what I'm talking about and say, "yeah I like it there." and then I tell them, Jacksonville, IL. not FL. and they're like "oh." yeah ppl,I told u this a million x's...Illinois! lol anyway it's normal for ppl down here in Florida to not be aware of it,but what's a little stranger is, ppl from IL. that have never heard of it. Yes, I have  had QUITE a few ppl I've met, visiting down here FROM Illinois,that have NEVER heard of Jacksonville. Some will tell me they came from Illinois and I'll be like,"Oh I lived there once." and then they're all like "Really? What part?" and I say, "Jacksonville." and then it's like u can hear a pin drop. lol 

They look so. CONFUSED. and r like "Jacksonville? where's that?" I tell them "it's in CENTRAL IL. I believe it's not far from Peoria."(if I remember correctly.) and most of them have even heard of Peoria and Sprinfield(of course),but not Jacksonville. And then a light seems to come in their head, and they're like "ohh ok." so that's y I'm saying that,yes there IS a Jacksonville in IL. Not just in Florida. LOL (besides my mother of course and her family) I must be the only FLORIDIAN or only person period, who knows about Jacksonville and that it EXISTS. LOL I'm from FLORIDA. I only lived in Illinois less than a year,the rest of my life has been here in Florida,but I know of Jacksonville and most ppl FROM Illinois,DON'T! of course there r alot of Floridians that have no clue about Spring Hill,which is prolly good,coz it's a BORING town to live in and I'm glad we left They don't even have a mall! >.<  LOL

Anyway weirdly enough for me,being from Florida and all and living in a fairly good sized city my whole life, I actually(mostly) enjoyed my time up there. But anyway,it's weird how when people ask you where you were from @ the time. and what part,even though it's a place u lived only such a SHORT time in,u end w/alot of memories and it's a part of ur life,a part of U,even tho it was TEMPORARY.  I even..heh heh,met some1 once,that...let's just say I never forgot...and um...now I know deep down what kinda personality traits n stuff, I seek in a guy. hope I meet this kinda guy 1 day...or run into the other 1 someday..but that's an ENTIRELY different story there,no need to get into that. I will just say tho, I have NEVER KNOWN ANY1 quite like him!EVER. ^__^

Some1 who has gotten my attention THAT MUCH,and sooooooooooooooooo different, from any1else I have ever met, that it totally made my day. =D (and if u knew how resistant I could be about ANYTHING...then u woulda def noticed a change in me lol!) So anywho I am posting meaningless blogs,coz I am bored and hopefully not BORING coz I'd really hate to be the cause of you falling asleep at your computer,with ur face pressed against the keys ,getting little keyboard buttons tattooed on ur face,while u drooled endlessly over that brand new computer or laptop you just bought, and short circuited it or whatever. If I am the cause of that, I'm sorry. However, whoever may be in the room w/u, I am sure would get a really good laugh,when they looked at you. So again I know(in a way) I have made SOME1 laugh. =)

1 more thing: DO NOT FORGET: There IS a Jacksonville, IL. and unlike Atlantis,it did not sink,so there is no reason for that town to be a secret. lol oh and Chapin exists,too,it's perhaps even smaller than Jacksonville,but they're there too. Just incase you were wondering. =) lol 

There is also an amish town up there too. I found that a little fascinating,when I saw it. I wish to God, I had had a camera back then,I coulda took some pix. When I told my best friend about that she got all happy and was like "I wanna see the amish people." lol They actually had like a "car lot' kinda place,like a DEALERSHIP. But it had horse buggies! Seriously!! It was weird seeing cars AND horse's w/buggies on the street together. It was like a clash of the past w/the present. There was even a church that had parking specifially for cars on 1side of the church,and parking made specifically for horse's and carriages, on the other side. It was COOL! Kinda like stepping thru history,or to make it sound cooler,like time traveling. Haha. =D

I realize it's Florida but.....

can't it SNOW?? Please?? I mean Florida can get pretty wicked cold here too,so why can't WE ever have snow? If I gatta freeze 2 death atleast make it worth my while and SNOW!! My best friend was right when she said it,"It's not really winter if there's no snow" now mind you she's from NY as well as lot of my friends are,and there's some that are from other states as well that miss it up there and having snow. The weird thing is I am prolly the only Florida native who's been up north and misses it up too.

Anywho I lived in Illinois once, and I only lived there less than a yr(only 7 months) and (with the exception of certain circumstances) I LOVED it there!!! Everyone seemed so different there. Even at school,most of the people,even the kids I went to school with were cool. I also had my 1st experience w/snow for 1 time only lol It was def a new experience for me,seeing ice alover the sidewalks and driveway,icicles hanging from the trees,and walking on snow for the 1st time.

I had even had my 1st snowball fight w/the kid next door(of course I had a hard time getting my snowballs to stay together long enough to pelt him good) lol. Man that kid was ALWAYS picking on me. lol Oh yeah and trying to walk up that ramp at the back door of the school was sheer agony!!! yeah, I wasn't used to slipping and sliding when trying to walk on any sidewalks or driveways lol. The only ice I've ever walked on was when I went ice skating at the ice rinks we have here,and even then, I only went onto that floor when I had skates on lol but there was only once or twice where I ended up half stepping onto that floor in sneakers. Which is also what I wore trying to get up the ramp and that wasn't fun. I thought I was gonna have to get on the ground and CRAWL just so I could move w/o killing myself LOL

But still it was so different up there and different in a way that I liked. People just seemed more down to earth up there,more friendly,and don't seem to believe just anything they hear like most ppl I've met in my life time do. I made some great friends. I enjoyed attending the church up there,and of course I enjoyed the school,even the way the school system is run, up there is sooooooooo much better than here. Even my Uncle likes schools up north better. Like me he's lived here and up there so he also knows the difference in the way the 2 states run schools. I also(guilty) like the fireflies. Yes,I  LIKE the fireflies. I found them fascinating,bcoz b4 I went up there I had never seen fireflies(other than in pic) b4 =)

I found the little amish town interesting. (I talk more about that in my next blog.) And St.Louis was cool. I wish I coulda spent MORE time out there,and seen more of the city,but since I didn't,I defintely plan to go back someday. As well as visit Atlanta. I've been tp Georgia b4 too,and it seems alright. Just haven't been to Atlanta yet,and that city looks alot like NY to me,(from what I've seen in pics) and it looks it's prolly as much fun as NY(maybe). Well what I've HEARD about NY anyway,since I've never been there.

Airedales

If anyone has an airedale, or has ever HAD 1, or even knows what 1 is,then you know how FUN they are to have around. A few years ago we aquired 2 airedales from my Uncle's friend who has a dog breeding business,and the dogs he breeds are airedales.(I'll upload a pic of my airedale for those of you that don't know what an airedale is.) Airedales are VERY intelligent dogs and having 1 is like have a toddler around the house. They're smart,funny,and can be very annoying as well as entertaining.

They get into EVERYTHING. Anyway,back to my little story,so we got 2 airedales from my Uncle's friend(a male and a female;brother& sister) which may have been a bad idea,because neither were fixed and the female came into heat a few times,but always b4 we were able to keep them apart,then this last time,our efforts weren't enough bocz 1 night,I suddenly heard some kind of animal and it sounded like it was right behind me,I turned around and found newborn pup on the floor. BOOOOOOOOOOOOY was my whole family SURPRISED to find that our dog had been pregnant all along. She only had 3 puppies that night. The runt of the litter unfortunately, died on us within a few days after her birth. =(

Then we were left w/2 puppies a male and a female,we ended up taking the female to a new home and we kept the male. He was born w/a white paw,which to me is very unusual on an airedale. So my mom named him ,Southpaw,also because it's his left paw that's white. So I am happy we kept him,because he is the FUNNIEST dog I have ever had. But airedales in general are anyway.

They notice when you rearrange the furniture in your house,or if you have some kind of animated toy that talks and moves(atleast Southpaw does) and they go ballistic over it. They will bark at pretty much anything. When Southpaw was a puppy(I can't get him to do this now) we were moving to our new house,and we had a mirror in the hall closet,that was full of stuff so he never saw the mirror,but when we moved our things out,the mirror was the last thing in there,and he walked over to, took a good look at it,and started barking,while backing away from it at the same time. Even now w/him older he'll still bark at strange stuff,stuff that most dogs don't pay attention to. On one of our walks we took,this 1 house had a yard light,more like a lamp post that's just the right size for a person standing there and it had vines growing alover it,and was standing half in a bush. Well he jumped back the 1st time he saw it and then started barking his head off-AT A LAMP POST!! Just last night,Southpaw barked at our most recent threat: a snow man!!

Yes a snowman. Not a real snowman of course,since this is Florida-snow? what's that? lol But 1 of those cute "frosty the snowman" blow up displays or something that goes in your yard for decoration. One of my neighbors had a snowman display not only in there yard,but way up by the walkway leading to the front door. Kinda far away for the dog to be freaking out. Mind you there wasn't anybody outside,so I knew the dog was BARKING at that snowman. This same dog is DEMANDING,even as a puppy,he would sit there patiently waiting for u get his food ready,sitting there straight and looking pretty,and if u take a second too long or more than he could stand,je would bark at you. LOUDLY. It's like he's saying,"WHERE'S MY DINNER??!" LOL I have become more familliar w/airedales and totally love them. I would like to have more airedales someday,but for now I can just deal w/the 1 I have now-the big BRAT! LOL

yaaaaaaay I finally did it!!

After YEARS of no hs diploma, so in no way could go to college,and years of having my very life drained from me and watching it pass me by, I finally got my ged about a month ago now,and I am FINALLY signed up for college. Yep. Just did it today. I am so excited! I get to start school next month. Woo Hoo! ^_^

I am sooooooooo ready to be the 1 in control of my life for a change instead of some1ELSE. However,since (like I said in a previous blog) I can't decide for SURE what exact degree I want,I'm going for the "degree for transfer" I may yet go to Ringling later on to puruse Computer Animation,or Film Production or something. I have MULTIPLE interests in that same area,I just can't make up my mind which of them I really wanna go for. But so far it seems like all the things that interest me at once can be taken at Ringling,even photography =D
So yeah,starting off at the communtiy college and then maybe go to Ringling from there. Assuming I don't change my mind-AGAIN. lol I'd much rather be going to school than working anyway. I'm tired of bosses that think they OWN me and treat me as such,or lie about me to get me in trouble,or NITPICK everything I do and get me written up for it,and nasty customers that complain about EVERYTHING, or expect u to get them every little thing they want, even if it can't be done, or just wanna be plain STUPID and RUDE. lol
I am def sick of working all weekends and most hoidays and late nights too. >.< But most of all...I'm sick of not LIVING.  Anywho not to get too much of topic,I'm just super excited to finally be starting college. ABOUT TIME!!!!!!! =0 =)

 I LOVE games! computer games,vid games(mostly nintendo ds and wii) and I dunno about you, but it seems like I am always getting computer viruses and have to turn my computer back or reset it all together, and alot of times you can LOSE any games u had on there,games u may not already have on a cd,maybe downloaded or ordered off the internet. But I found this awesome website that has a program ,that enables u to copy and back up games using any cd or dvd burner,and u can copy games for any console, be it : Nintendo Wii,Nintendo DS,even computer games. So I thought I'd share this w/u coz I find it very interesting and thought that maybe you will too.

How do u deal w/having WAY too many interests at a time?

I'm having a bit of a dilemma here. I have a serious case of C.M.U.M.M.S.(Can't make up my mind syndrome).
I have way too many interests and can't seem to just PICK 1 to after 1st. I've wanted to go to college for YEARS but had never graduated high school,but now that I got my ged I CAN go to college,but...I CAN'T DECIDE for the LIFE of me what or which I want to do in college. What kind of degree do I want? I'm not sure. What am I interested in? Alot! lol! I used to want to be a model and an actress,then I kept changing my mind and finding other interesting things too.The thought of going into voice acting is VERY appealing to me. But I also have an interest in computer animation(which makes a TON of money btw) and movies in general. Movie producing or directing or even just in the "behind the scenes" part of it. Like movie editing,or running the camera,or WHATEVER! Also after going to the woods behind my house a bunch of times,I noticed how GORGEOUS it is in there  and decided I had to get some pix,so I started taking pix like crazy w/my digital camera and got some awesome pix of the trees or the way the sky looked and some I even got of the sun peeking thru the trees and the shot came out just right. It looked SO.GOOD. Almost professional,and suddenly I found that I LOVED taking pix(mostly of nature) and now at the very same time I'm interested in all those other things I want to be a photographer lol Some of my interests don'y neccesarily require college,so ehhhhhh I dunno where to start. I'll go ahead and post some of the amazing pix I took for ya. ;)

This 1 is so far my favorite pic! I was laying on a sideways,fallen over tree-completely shaded but got a shot of the sun just peeking through and it came out just right. I also have this set as my desktop page. =)

This only a FEW of hundreds of pix I have taken. I live in Florida and near the beaches and marinas so I usually find something real pretty to snap a picture of. =)

Is anyoneelse a huge "meet the browns" fan??

I defintely am! Actually I like Tyler Perry's work in general. A few years ago my best friend dragged me to see "Madea's family reunion" when it 1st hit theaters and I ended up LOVING it! After that I had to see all the other Madea movies,and then there was other movies, like "Daddy's little girls", "I can do bad all by myself", and "meet the browns" Madea wasn't in those movies unfortunately =(, but I ended up loving those too. I like the fact that these movies r FULL of comedy AND christianity.(seeing as I'm a christian myself) =) I was totally ecstatic when I found out they made a TV SHOW for "Meet the Browns" I watch it every chance I get. OMG, you'll bust a gut laughing,when you watch it. Especially with Mr.Brown's crazy self and the way he dresses, LOL and the way him and Edna are always aggravating each other. =) Also I found it interesting that the actor and actress that play Cora and Mr.Brown are actually married in real life.

I wonder if that makes it WEIRD for them to play a father and daughter on the show? It's like "hey my husband is now my father" and "wow my wife is suddenly my daughter" LOL I know it IS acting,but still,it must have been kind of weird for them in the beginning. Hmmmm. Maybe I'm wrong. LOL! Anyway from what I can gather Tyler Perry and seemingly all the actors-actresses from his movies/shows are all in Atlanta! That is so cool! For once not ALL the celebs, live and are based in California lol So I've been wanting to take a trip to Atlanta anyway(and St.Louis) for some quite some time now. Man I hope I end up meeting them if and when I finally do get to go. =)

My 1st ever blog-no that's not right-my 1st blog on THIS site lol

I have 3 dogs,1 of which is an airedale w/a very bizarre personality-bizarre for a dog that is. Having an airedale is like having a toddler around the house I can assure you. They're smart and way too funny,but they also get into EVERYTHING if you don't watch them. Anywho this is basically just my intro blog here,there will be more.
